Fire Risk Assessment Training
Solent Staff Fire Training are now providing a course specifically designed for people that have been given the responsibility of carrying out or maintaining Fire Risk Assessments in the workplace. The course is designed to assist managers or those appointed to assist the Responsible person, to carry out a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment in a small to medium size uncomplicated workplace such as shops, offices, or the common areas of blocks of flats etc.
The course requires the delegate to carry out a typical fire risk assessment and produce a satisfactory report and action plan to rectify the deficiencies. To obtain certification, the candidate has to show competence in assessing a typical workplace, producing a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment report and appropriate prioritised action plan to rectify deficiencies or make improvements. An 80% pass mark is required to obtain certification however, if the candidate fails to achieve the passmark, they will be given another chance on the next course to re-take the assessment, free of charge.
